This Sunday, we welcome Tom Baker back to UWSC to share a message on Gratitude. Tom is a former Catholic priest who transitioned from parish ministry in 1990 and later earned his Master’s in Social Work in 1996. He went on to serve as a licensed therapist in private practice for 29 years.

Tom is known for bringing teachings that are both practical and filled with gentle humor and insight. We look forward to another meaningful and uplifting message. We hope you’ll join us on Sunday!

On Sunday, we welcome Edward Hopkins, minister of Wellspring United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Edward was one of our community faith leaders that joined in our World Day of Prayer celebration in September and this week he will share his talk on the life transforming consequences of surviving adult onset Hydrocephalus. On Sunday, we welcome back our dear friends, Duncan Hamra and Ingrid McGukin, proud parents to Baby James. They are excited to bring another Flipped Service to UWSC after a few months of adjusting to life as a new family of three. Duncan explains, "There will be few minutes of sharing followed by 20 minutes of practicing gratitude together. We'll start by making lists of "the good stuff" in our lives and take time to consider "where did this come from?" in conversation with each other."
